Channel Development Representative
(CDR)
Purpose:
- To provide local and regional support to distributors and resellers for the purpose of closing sales of the IPAD product line.
 
Tasks:
- Educate potential customers on the market for the IPAD.
 - Train distributor and reseller sales reps on the how to sell the IPAD.
 - Give sales seminars to potential customers.
 - Work with distributors to identify and close business within the distributor's customer base.
 - Work with resellers to identify and close business within the reseller's customer base.
 - Work leads with distributors and resellers to ensure follow up and closure.
 - Locate and close new business in assigned territory.
 
Territory:
- To be determined.
 
Accountabilities:
- Achieve assigned quota.
 - Satisfy all reasonable customer (resellers, distributors and end users) requests for assistance in closing IPAD business.
 
Experience requirements:
- Track record of sales success.
 - High tech sales experience.
 - Excellent presentation sills.
 - Fast growth business environment.
 - Forecasting skills.
 - Computer networking (LAN/WAN) and Internet knowledge.
 - Computer VAR & reseller experience.
 - Self motivated.
 
Location:
- Employee will work from home with some travel required.
